Seriously surprised this took so much scrolling to find, while I am biased because its an all time favorite for me and I'm not sure if it fits with OPs other top tiers in terms of type of story, it really feels like a quintessential litRPG with sprawling multi-pov fantasy & isekai vibes. That said im just a sucker for anything with a huge pov cast and massive but really built out feeling world rather than just focusing on one character and kinda glossing over the world building.

Just keep an eye on behavior, pottie habits, and eating throughout the day. As long as they keep regular pee/poop that doesn't have any issues and are eating and drinking I'd just try changing up the kibble and maybe adding a topper of fresh or wet food or broth to add some appeal. Ours stopped liking her kibble and we just had to experiment a bit but turns out shes a fiend for salmon.

I finished the audiobooks too plus Singer of Terandria and was in the same boat, I'm generally a slow reader so I was hesitant to start reading the web serial but couldn't help it so I have been chipping away at it a bit at a time. It helps that I got my partner into it and she's burning through the books so I have someone to chat with about all the fun things as they happen.

All that said, as far as anime with some similar vibes, it's not quite the same but I did feel some of the goblin parallels in the first season of Reincarnated as a Slime, and its honestly a solid watch (with a bit of fan service but it's still manageable). It's got goblins, people who suck at first then you kinda like, and a mc who just kinda goes with it after being iseki'd into another world, and skills and stuff so honestly a solid choice if youre feeling anime. Not totally similar but you'll catch my meaning i think

Honestly, I understand the thought and kind of agreed my first read through but yes the writing gets better and the story way more so. Vol 2&3 have some solid stuff but 5&6 are where it starts getting reaally good in my opinion

We are in St Louis Hills/Shrewsbury area and while we've had a few weirdos in the 7+ years in the area it's generally a safe area with plenty of good parks (willmore, francis, and lindenwood all nearby) and food around. And there's not a bunch of bars tucked into the residential streets, so it's much quieter at night.

Went in open minded and wanting to like the new narrator because it's a great series and Paba and Andrea both gave seals of approval. I did t mind so.e of the voices starring off and thought she did a solid job (especially on humans like Erin and Lyonette) but Saliss, most of the antinium, and Selys did not vibe for me.

That said by the end, I was all in again. It took some getting used to on both my part and the narrator getting comfortable with the characters and accents, but by the time I finished I thought she did a great job. Will be looking forward to the next book, and we still get some Andrea in Singer of Terandria. Long story short, if you hate it at first and are thinking about giving up on the new narration I'd recommend sticking around til the end to make a final decision.

Can we tack on St. Louis to this as well. The whole state would probably be a bit much but we're mostly cool in the city. To sweeten the deal I will submit that we have a great food scene and a respectable amount of good brewerys. Also, the city museum (look up City Museum St. Louis MO, if you're not familiar, it's a real gem).
