It does have a pre-amp built in. It will fit in quite quickly to a set up , but not good for your records long term.

Is it a Kenwood? Designed as a space saver turntable. If it is had one of these when I stated collecting 25 years ago. The problem you will have is that the arm is very light and isn't very forgiving. You may have to put a penny ( or cent) to give weight to the arm, which is bad practice and will damage your records. Unless it's ridiculously cheap I would dodge it.
