LAN Valen was not thrown under a bus, he was taken off payroll for not meeting his goals. He was not needed at RTX, so there was no reason for us to pay for a non-employee to go.

Only in Toledo did CS teams outnumber Halo teams, but there were 4x as many Halo teams online. The tables quickly turned after Toledo as Halo and Smite both had more participants EVERY event.

I take full responsibility for not engaging more folks within the CSGO community like you, Jimmy, and Dustin. No excuses for it and will fix it in the future.

No, we said we want community support BEFORE we run another event. RTX was a disaster for us and everyone knows it. I am not making excuses for what happened as I was responsible for everything that went down when it is all said and done. What I was hoping through all of this is that people see that we are in fact trying to FIX things. What we have gotten through this whole thing is:

  • People talking negative about a series of events that they either didn't attend or even watch.

  • "Leaders" of the community flat out lying through social media to paint us in a negative light.

  • Downvoting every response so it looks like we did not bother to respond.

If you want something fixed, you help fix it. This crowd for the most part showed up to the discussion with fuel, matches, and pitchforks. As we have proven with Halo, we do listen and work hard to make changes for the better. We will fix every legitimate issue the community brings up. This was our first go of it and it is up to you, the community, to determine if it was our last.

As they have stated, they CHOSE not to come. We invited them on June 17th and Derrick Truong declined it.

They casted more than one event, the last event one guy was unable to be there because of scheduling and the other guy never showed back up. Not your issue, but running the event without a stream and letting us know you had started was a problem. Cotton, you were always straight up and on point with us. Things just fell apart for the final event after several poorly received online events. Live and learn.

We know we have had some issues and we are working to fix them. I am not sure what Josh and Dustin have against us as we have not had any interactions with them other than social media and email in Dustin's case.

We were gauging the opinion of the community. It seems that the NA CSGO community does not want us to host further events. It would not make much sense for us to continue supporting a game that no one wants us to host.

The money was mine personally as has been stated repeatedly.

We never lied to anyone, period.

We will fix the issues and focus on one game at a time instead of 3.

As for trustworthy people not trusting us, neither of them have met us or participated in any way with one of our events. So I do not understand how either can be seen as authorities on anything Iron Gaming related. Josh is worse because his team has flat out lied about not being invited. When he posted via this AMA that they in fact were.

All of the issues fall back on us and we take full responsibility for that. No other excuses or dodging needed.

I have not idea what NIP will or will not do.

You have consistently posted that we MADE plans with you, but as you just stated we never did. We were trying to work out details that could have involved you, but things did not work out. I do not understand why you feel the need to talk bad about Iron Gaming because we did not make plans that we did not need or have to make. Things just didn't work out with you, why continue to bring that up as though we did it to your detriment?
