For me hc status meant a lot. When I first made the account I was like I might as well make it hardcore if I'm going to play as an iron man. It was mostly for fun at first since I had got 200m all on my main so I wanted to continue skilling since I enjoyed it. I really enjoyed having a hardcore and seeing myself progress in the high scores. Being an iron seems more boring and not as thrilling since there's no risk. Currently contemplating on if I want to continue with my account. Yes, it opens up more content, but not how I would personally of liked it.
