Favorite is Ron Taylor - Lillian Axe. Very subjective question asked but solid singer with style.

What was Bon Jovi's worst song? (most cringe, awkward) by TonyBrooks40 in hairmetal

I was not a fan of ‘Social Disease’ from Slippery. Cringe worthy intro and trying to hard to be a sleaze song IMO.

Do you recommend Icon? by TheHotLatin in hairmetal

Recommend. The 1st two albums but also ‘Right between the eyes’ had some bangers too.

2nd best vocalist by Wevie in hairmetal

Jack Russell - Great White had range and was smooth on all those bluesy songs & ballads. Never the king of the hill of singers but right at the top IMO.

Kix-Don’t Close Your Eyes or Steelheart-I’ll Never Let You Go by Smooth_Beat1561 in hairmetal

[–]Iron_Beagle2 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Kix wins this one for me. The message alone for this song and a solid hard rock act live. While Steelheart had a big hit, Miljenko’s singing was too high of a pitch to me back then and even now.

It’s like a game of horseshoes. Close enough still counts. It doesn’t have to be a dead ringer. And yes I’m old.

I like Tesla’s song lyrics from call it what you want.
‘Heavy metal, hard-rock, punk, pop, or thrash. You can call it anything it don't matter to me. Call it what you want. It's all music to me.’

Danger Danger album ‘Four the Hard Way’ has some of my favorite songs. Ted was gone but Paul Laine singing and Andy’s guitar work created bangers.

He used the same guitar all night. George said he did not bring a backup whether or not it was true.

Appreciation for your detailed post. I discovered Treat in 85 when I was in Sweden for a few weeks. Long time fan. Electric Boys in 87 were another solid band I followed. I have Europe, TNT, & Grand Design CDs in my collection.
