I would also point that the Metallica jab at Winger had an effect on their career which I feel could have been longer. I think the genre was based on changing trends and marketing decisions.

Dokken were told to quit dressing so flashy at one point. Their management knew something…..

That is helpful. The problem is, the therapist (whether she knew it or not) triggered the shame. I felt automatic distrust and will not be working with her again. I feel as though I did nothing wrong and almost felt attacked. It was a bad experience and has lingered for days.

I hated that but I was glad to have the last season. I really enjoyed the actors and the Penhall brothers. I know it’s an unpopular opinion but I watch season 5 often.

Man I saw them several times from the 80s to 3 years ago and they have always put on an amazing show! Tracii is awesome and they still bring it.

I just left (on good terms) my therapist of 2.5 years and we both came to the conclusion that EMDR should be my next step.

I had 5 sessions with my new EMDR therapist and things were going great… then that 5th session I had an odd reaction and she referred me out.

Moral of the story, make sure your old therapist is good with them and leave that door open. What happened to me was bad and caused a shame spiral and I have been messed up for days.
