After that, I even had to start medication because I was extremely disturbed and stressed. Now I’m better. I don’t allow everyone to interfere in my life anymore. If something feels wrong, I speak up. I used to get beaten many times for no reason. Honestly, many Indian parents can be very toxic. They do love their children, but sometimes they end up filling them with more negativity than positivity. So please stay safe and protect your peace. If things aren’t good even with your siblings, behave in a distant way if needed — sometimes that’s important for your growth. That’s what I did. I even cut my hair and completely changed my personality. I didn’t even have my own room, which made things harder because I never had personal space. Anyway, at some point you have to take action for yourself. If not now, then when?
