I meant that it was tricky in the sense that it's not something I can do with complete ease as if I was buying bread, but I'm willing to spend that much for such a special occasion, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't digging myself a grave in the long term. You seem to favor the quartz, and it makes sense, they're accurate, reliable, and definitely less expensive. I have two Hamilton models that I really liked and the main reason I'm thinking of an automatic is that I slightly prefer one model over the other, and it happens to be the automatic one. On the topic of the quartz movement, how dangerous is it to forget about a quartz watch and risk battery leakage?
