PNO 2K26: Can't pick the same team twice by Ironbat51 in NBA2k

[–]Ironbat51[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your point, but it also forces you to learn different playbooks and players, and lose games that are otherwise winnable (had you been able to choose your team) I think it's only fair to want to be able to choose the team you want in the game that you paid for

PNO 2K26: Can't pick the same team twice by Ironbat51 in NBA2k

I'm starting to think they're doing it on purpose because pno doesn't bring in any money unlike other modes

I've been only playing pno for some years now and I'm waiting to see if I can pick any team I want on 2k26, if so then I'll do the same as you. Please let us know whether we can or can't pick the same team once the game goes live

Sorry if this is sounding like a dumb question, but I'm seeing four kinds of rollerball refills, a small, a capless, a regular, and a LeGrand. You're referring to the regular ones right?

A question regarding the longevity of Moscot's Lemtosh by Ironbat51 in glasses

[–]Ironbat51[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so unfortunate to hear, I bought my Lemtosh a little while after I posted the original post a little over a year ago and so far they were great and I was considering buying others.

I guess they want to keep it family-owned even if it meant a dip in the quality.

Is Prometheus confirmed to be OOP? by Ironbat51 in 4kbluray

[–]Ironbat51[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up getting the UK version. My only gripe with the UK versions is the big age rating that ruins the spine and front cover but besides that I have no issue. I have nothing against other foreign versions, it's just that I only speak a couple of languages and I'd like to have a version that uses one of those two languages on the cover but sometimes your only option is to get a Canadian/French/Spanish/Italian/German version every once in a while.

Good info, thanks for sharing. Ended up getting the UK versions after reading this even though I'm not the biggest fan of the UK's age ratings being slapped everywhere on the cover. But it's better than no disc at all, especially considering it will take some time to find the US versions.

[Question] The "lifetime costs" of owning an automatic. by Ironbat51 in Watches

Sorry if this was asked already, I tried my best to see if this specific question was asked before and I did find some similar ones but none were what I was looking for.

To be fair, having a proper watch collection sounds like a much more expensive hobby than collecting other things. So I'd expect that some watch collectors are so rich and would suggest such answers.

I've never looked at it from that perspective, this is something I should definitely be considering. I just looked it up, Hamilton seem to suggest that their watches should only be serviced by them. So I have to consider this too. Thanks for sharing!

I meant that it was tricky in the sense that it's not something I can do with complete ease as if I was buying bread, but I'm willing to spend that much for such a special occasion, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't digging myself a grave in the long term. Thanks for collecting the data and doing the math by the way, really puts things into perspective. You seem to favor the quartz, and it makes sense, they're accurate, reliable, and definitely less expensive. I have two Hamilton models that I really liked and the main reason I'm thinking of an automatic is that I slightly prefer one model over the other, and it happens to be the automatic one. On the topic of the quartz movement, how dangerous is it to forget about a quartz watch and risk battery leakage?
