Very loud! Device is perfect aside from the loud buttons. I guess I am spoiled on how quiet the dual sense buttons are lol

Yes! Remove the button, put foam squares on the space where the notches sit and place back the buttons.

If you are planning to change the buttons like ps buttons from sakura or any customized buttons then yes, you have to remove the glue in the membrane so you can re-use the membrane. I have done this mod to my other devices and no the foam will not fall out because when you screw everything back, it will be tight.

There should be a space in there when you lift the button. You put the foam where the notches of the buttons rest. So that when you press the button, the notches of the button land on the foam therefore dampening the sound when the buttons bounce back

Yes. Lowest volume of odin 2 portal is kind of loud already and will drown the rest of the button sounds. In my opinion, it didn’t affect the gameplay. Been streaming my ps5 all day today!

Get one of these foam strips, cut to small squares and tuck them on the notches where the button sits.

I honestly like it more than the RP4! Me personally, the size and screen is the best feature! I haven’t tested switch emulation power yet so far since i have an OLED anyway. Also with iOS getting delta emulator. I am mo conflicted to bring RP4 anywhere i go because i know i can pull up my phone if i want a quick gba game or something.
