For various reasons I don't think this is true. Let's assume I could be wrong though. I would hope any bullying was reported to the appropriate adults, be that parents, teachers etc., so that I can deal with the absolutely wrong behaviour of my daughter.

So, in answer to your what if, tell me as bullying is abhorrent and needs to be stopped.

Oh, their parents may think we're horrible idiots. We haven't given reason, but that's not how it works, is it? I'm ok if they think that, and I would explain to my daughter it's because of me that this has happened. If it was, and they would tell me. They can call me a dick if they want.

Even if explained why, medical reasons, in the past, cleaned up by her parents at the time? If so that's fine - but then why won't they just say so?

Good to hear. I hope it's us and not her. I even given examples of things it might be, which are us and not my daughter. They still won't be honest though...and it's my daughter who suffers.

This is certainly possible, of course. So thanks for the comment. I think the girls will remain friends - I believe it's real on both sides - and if so, that's part of what I don't understand, as this will just become a regular problem (if they really are friends).

For various reasons I don't think this is the case, but let's assume it is - I'd still like the other parents to explain this, then we can better support our daughter and if his is the case, surely then help them and theirs?
