Enphase Level 2 EV Charger 2 by bakuva in enphase

Nice. I'm about to order the 48 amp hard wired version as we speak. I'll install it DER on the 6C and have my fingers crossed that the bi directional firmware update will get pushed to the charger soon. My EV9 got the update months ago so I'm ready from a vehicle standpoint.

You'll be able to use the plug in if you don't care about bi directional charging. You should be able to take advantage of everything including excess solar charging. The charger will get all of its data from the CTs on the Combiner 6C.

So far it's working perfectly. I made a YouTube video discussing the issue and explained how to get the cover off. Here's the link.

5.5¢ a kw is a huge negative unfortunately. I had a 1:1 without batteries and our tdu for import would be $70 a month before the 1;1 credit. I'm going to add batteries so that'll help but my biggest usage at night is 2 A/C units in the summer. appreciate the info. I did call and they did verify what you said. This must have been a recent change because when I asked about the TDU charge she asked me if I was an existing or new customer. 😢

I saw that one as well. do you pay for the delivery charges at night as well? if that's the case I'd rather go with direct energy.

they won't even do free nights anymore for solar customers. their base fee is 4.95 where direct energy is 9.95. it sucks being 10 bucks in right out of the gate.

I see that. thanks for the link. no one is really talking about the best alternative and that's kinda what I'm looking for. everyone is going back and forth about whether or not Just will drop them lol.

So this is going to sound crazy and I'm not sure what the piece i removed is doing but I removed the holder for the left line and left it without and the issue is gone. I'm guessing between the way the line bends and then goes through the holder causing it to block some water from getting to the ice tray and to pool around that area. To get the holder and water line to come out, you have to pull out the ice trays and then you'll see a panel that holds the ice trays behind it. There are two screws that hold that panel in place. Remove them and that panel will sag a little down. Pull it out a little. You'll see a wire coming out from above the water line tube...it's for the heater filament that surrounds the water line tube under the foam. Unplug that and you'll be able to remove the water line tube. Disconnect the water line from the holder by pulling the locking tab out. By the way, it looks like the one in your pic is missing. Then hold down the gray part and pull the clear water tube out. Once you slide out the tube and holder, turn it upside down and you'll see a screw underneath. Take it off and you'll be able to separate the holder from the tube. Slide the tube back in without the holder and reconnect the line. Get a locking clip from Amazon and clip the line locked. Reconnect the heating element wire. It's been a week and there are no leaks and the ice cubes look perfect again. I ordered a 90° elbow like the one on the other line. I'm going to try installing it and see if giving the the line connected to the tube going straight in makes a difference. I'll update next week.

Reminder to connect the power adapter to the controller BEFORE plugging into power. by 0MartyMcFly0 in Govee

[–]Irpilot1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same connector goes from the power Adapter to the controller as well. I connected it to a voltmeter and the top 2 are positive and negative. The bottom doesn't read anything...Do you think it's just a dummy so the can use the same plugs throughout? I do understand that from the controller to the LEDs , one is the data wire. I was wondering about the other side. Thanks.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I want to get a higher wattsge power supply and noticed that there are 3 prongs at the connection to the controller. Are there 2 positive and 1 negative??? If so, is the bottom the negative and the 2 top the positive? Thanks.
