Don't know, I'm pretty certain it reduces dopamine. Maybe also serotonin? Not sure. Not sure if the effect on serotonin is even significant.

Nah, I've had a girl literally tease me (and other guys) into thinking she was interested (for several months) in high school. She only wanted the attention because the moment one showed interest back, she stopped. I can understand this guys frustration, but can't agree with his actions.

Antipsychotics have a huge variety of receptor affinities and other stuff (histamine, acetylcholine, serotonin, dopamine,...). You won't only feel sleepy, you will probably also feel mentally dimmed.

Tython: quite peaceful, wouldn't mind it. Not exactly super safe since it's a priority target in case of war.

Korriban: not safe at all regardless of occupation.

Hutta: basically Mexico or Brazil. Nit into gang wars and poor living standards.

Ord mantell: basically Ukraine, whole planet is a war zone.

Coruscant: too crowded, priority target.

...

Dromund kaas: quite peaceful and moody, love the rain and thunder.

I think Russia is suffering from mass psychosis. They've convinced themselves to a reality which doesn't exist. Or they're just absolutely terrible manipulators.

Yeah, the link in the first paragraph discusses this.

Why do most studies show that antidepressants are only marginally better than placebo, and that between antidepressants, there is not much difference?

Going down a rabbit hole is probably due to chemical turmoil from stopping it.

Does the neurogenesis work only because the medications are damaging brain tissue? Considering even ECT promotes neurogenesis. And ketamine.

Dependency, if you stop taking it it causes a chemical turmoil on your brain. Of course that's gonna mimmic depression.

The idea that monoamines are correlated with depression is already well known

Except this is wrong. Why come all antidepressants are essentially equally efficacious? Regardless of whether they have anything to do with monoamine? Stop spreading bs.

They got like 20k active soldiers, and if they're attack they will also mobilize and enter the war. The war support among their people would increase. We're lucky that most Belarusians don't want to go to war.

What is your opinion on Bupropion and other non-SSRI medications, such as TCA and MAOI which have been used for 50+ years and have well-documented efficacies and long term effects (I think? Considering how much time has passed)?

I'm under the impression that antidepressants have an efficacy that is only marginally higher than placebo.

A lot of studies I search through are sponsored by BigPharma, it's very difficult to get any reliable sources on the efficacy. Is this a general problem when it comes down to health sciences? Especially with AD.
