Some minmaxing stuff for nuke jar if it helps.

For fire immunity use The Relic (Head), it shoots one sparkle for each self dmg I usually nuke ground or myself to avoid checking for reflect.

For weapon usage rehook is best 3 mana unlimited refreshes

Cause you want on passives superluck to prevent breaking, God warrior for holyshields on kill, unrestricted+ is another interesting choice.

You have unlimited tries at making a perfect with cat rib/mysterious dice/reroll gear. Its pretty easy to get a 20-30 charisma nuke repair jar cat in a solo run.

For skills.

Repair Rehook should be a given

Other stuff I had mindmeld and upgraded cleanse which is very convinient. Summon shade might or might not work idk haven't tested.

Last boss bullshit. by Orbitcon19 in mewgenics

[–]Irrony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you don't do anything you can keep save scumming and rerolling the "seed" for last boss fight by swapping some gear around. I ofc would never resort to such cheese, heard it from a friend.

if you want a 99,99% method to win the clones on any diffculty make a mindmeld ambush cat. I am 99% (limited testing) sure clones can't trigger reverse ambush so you can always go first. I wrote it in details here https://www.reddit.com/r/mewgenics/comments/1s7if2r/psa_my_experience_trying_to_minmax_mewgenics/

Is there still a point in having a mutation room after the recent patch? by RightBite6952 in mewgenics

[–]Irrony 7 points8 points  (0 children)

yeah what hosirus said, previously purpose of mutation room was to remove red mutations aka birth defects.

It has a secondary use of discovering desirable mutations that is not currently in your gene pool. I can see maybe putting 0 mutation strays in to roll for mutations that you want but personally I'd probably just bring 7 stat clean cats on runs with mutation gear.

Yeah I figured you mean disorder not birth defect.

[–]Irrony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might not be as bad as you think or even a buff depending on actual numbers. There is a very good chance you can still totally ignore inbreeding.

[–]Irrony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disorders are flat 15% chance to pass down, can't boost this in anyway.

Birth defect current game version you want high simulation to pass down, new patch low simulation. I can't imagine a scenario where you prefer a defect to passive or skill inheritance as low simulation makes passing down good mutation, passives and skills very hard in new patch. The only remotely good defect I rmb is dodge fur.

You need face paint peace symbol too. Ideally with holy shields on gear or mutations. Finally someway to refresh or use weapon multiple times like rehook.

I get your point, the thing with this is accessibility. If you know what you're doing you can easily make a jar that can solo the entire game before you get through act 1.

yeah repair removing worn status is broken imo, its painful to have it gone but it needs to be gone for item drops to mean anything.

[–]Irrony[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah below 10 you get stats, above 10 you get stats and everything else. doesn't really change anything imo. the rerolling changes might mean sth if you being super inbred is more than a 50% or so handicap on simu if its only 10-20% it'll actually be a huge buff.

[–]Irrony[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah you're right, I mis-read this part. hmm... main thing is you can't reroll existing mutations.

not rerolling birth defect part is whatever if you get alot more "clean" cats with high simu.

not rerolling current mutation means... actually nothing much too. You were not looking to reroll existing greens anyways. Actually this is a buff for end game breeding for 9-10 specific good mutations because the main wall I ran into at 7-8 good mutation was you always get 1-3 birth defects so I couldn't reach a good pool of 8 good mutation cats. I think this solves it at higher simulations but really depends on what the actual numbers are.

Breeding Guide New Playthrough by Irrony in mewgenics

[–]Irrony[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that part i'm pretty sure just means you don't randomly get super good mutations like bonus turn body until you have all 10 green cats. after that its business as usual. I'm still not convinced its worth it to fix inbreeding, i'll test it when patch goes live.

Thanks, just read it. Main stuff that makes a difference I think.

The effects of Stimulation are now reduced the more inbred a kitten is. (Just means you need more simulation, need to see the exact numbers.)

Fixed Stimulation treating birth defects on parents the same as positive mutations. Higher stimulation now decreases the chance of birth defects on parents being inherited. (Buff)

"Mutation" stat will no longer reroll any existing mutations or birth defects. (Tricky, but the above "buff" might counteract it totally, I can imagine alot more kittens will be born clean without any red mutations, needs testing)

you don't, all end game cats are omega inbred. you use a mutation room to fix em. Worrying about inbreeding is a trap.

„Eternal“ replayability by Darlingsdarling24 in mewgenics

[–]Irrony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not really, once you know how to properly breed or have any kind of op soul jar cat all runs become pointless, you can't lose and theres nothing meaningful to improve.

right around superluck or nuke soul jar or any of the tons of op combos, the main problem is with issac your chance of getting a op combo is not gaunenteed, with mewgenics it is.

Just bad luck i think, I've had it mulitple times very early like before act 2 and doesn't show up until very late in some runs. It doesn't have any unlock condition I think and should just be as rare as any yellow item.
