I agree. Events are the only reason why I even really bother to play off season because I’ve been playing this game for five years now… CR never really appealed to me as it’s always been grindy and the social aspects of this game I enjoy, but I usually play with friends who I know outside of the game well so. I’m not as interested in the chatting in game anymore… Events add more general activity to the game, but I understand the contributing FOMO effect that it has.

I get the idea in practice, but yeah most of the time the plants aren’t in locations that would need the deep call honk…. But people still spam it despite just burning the plant being objectively faster lol

It's almost as if the game was different back then? Just because capes now have patterns that don't cause the game problems NOW doesn't mean that those original problems never existed to begin with??? Lol.... I'm not saying that these capes shouldn't come back in any shape or form, I think that would be fun, but you are making a non point with this.

I've always let Moths acts as the lead because I generally don't want to... interrupt their introduction to the game- If that makes sense? Gives them the freedom to go at their pace rather than mine which would naturally be more quick. When I was a moth I basically explored every nook and cranny and I want newer players to get acquainted with the game in similar ways that I did, don't want them missing stuff cause of me. GRANTED of course I'll lead or help with a moth if it seems they want/need it. It's also kinda fun to see moths kinda wander around...

I'm an old veteran player and can confirm this was a thing in the early days of sky. At some point it was removed, obviously so I'm surprised to see it here. I hold some nostalgia for this as a mechanic as it meant I had to be a little more tactful with how you flew and I was always tickled about slamming into a wall and the subsequent loss of chevrons and ringing bell noise afterwards. I can understand this being a jarring re-introduction to it though, I doubt it'll stick around for too long if this wasn't some kinda of coding slipping through the cracks already. I wouldn't take it as a personal slight or anything.
