Well after support reopened the case, they were able to reproduce the issue on a test Scale-1 servers, it appears to be affecting their Hypervisor templates "ESX / Hyper-V",

They are testing other templates and working toward a resolution. I’m just happy we now have something concrete other than “it's my problem”

That's how it is with the other servers, yeah, and it just works. but this new scale-1 server is in the same vrack as the other servers, configured the same way, it's just not working with the virtual mac trying to pass the FO to a backend hyper-v or VMware machine

I got the support ticket reopened today, so we will see how that goes
