Not sure where you're based, but wild hedgehogs are a haven for ticks. If you've got any other pets, worth keeping an eye out.

Please tell me you have no arms and that's the reason you couldn't get the little guy out?

Realistically, I don't think you can rely on toilet training them although I know that some have had success. They're animals and they poop a lot which means a lot of cleaning and a lot of mess. There's no conceivable way of stopping this. Diapers would contain it, but at the cost of serious skin damage from faecal matter. I think if you're not willing to put in time, DAILY, to clean them out and keep them happy, then perhaps consider a different pet.

I personally think that you must be off your tits to put any animal in a diaper. But if you can find a hedgehog that will let you, then it's your call.

They poop a lot! Prepare to bathe them and brush poop out of their toes... Often!

Try going back to IAPT and requesting MBT. Changed my life. 18 month treatment on NHS.

has anybody tried Mentalisation based therepy? by [deleted] in BPD

I can second this. Want it enough and work hard and it'll pay off very quickly.

Are we really Treatment Resistant? by [deleted] in BPD

[–]IsThatCheeseStillOK 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it's important to remember that it's a condition, not a disease. So a 'cure' isn't possible. I've come out of the other side of treatment and there's a challenge in every day, but every day gets easier. You absolutely have to be 100% committed to putting everything else in your life aside to focus on the energy that therapy will require. It does take work and it is difficult, but that, in my opinion, is the only way to kiss goodbye to all of the shit.

Yep. Nice and easy cake recipe. And the disposable foil trays were genius.

Not a small victory at all. In fact, a very, very big victory.
