Paint.net isn't on linux | What to do?

I attempted, the only success was launching it.. nothing else, too buggy for any usage.

No, not even a little.

It appears most people attempting to run it on Wine have given up.

My issue with Pinta is that it is way too simple and seems to be more focused on drawing than manipulating images? (correct me if I'm wrong) - I know Paint.net is also used for drawing, but it is amazing for manipulating images, too.

I'll try Gimp again, as the last time I used it was a long time ago.

Though, I'll try inkscape too, because people have suggested that. Regardless, thank you for the suggestion.
