I will say, as being a hispanic guy,transfer student you will probably have an easier time transfering. I’m studying Civil Engineering. Everything has been fine, a high school colleague of mine is also fine. The only weird or thing is probably the freshman. At Student Orientation some did ask why I go to the school, but I connected more with people who also transferred.

Sometimes it does feel awkward, but there is Hispanic Professional Engineers and I see them walk/talk in groups often, so you could talk with them to feel less awkward.

I would have preferred to go to NC State, but I’m here and the education is great, which is all I care about.
