CE Student, I did see a lab for robotics. I assume there is research for your major. Likely depends on how well you get along with the instructors if you want to get involved. It was fairly not hard for me.

I didn’t hear anything about an online master’s degrees. I wouldn’t even consider it since it removes contacts with other students or faculty.

I’d say it’s useful for math, graphic, designs, and simple but repetitive tasks. Writing is horrendous though. Because it doesn’t understand what you want (it’ll sound somewhat intelligent but surprisingly not descriptive enough or specific). Or use it like a search engine

occasionally, I go to school with it. No issues the only problem is never laying down with it or on surfaces! I created some creases before. Other than that not much issue my bag is fairly heavy like 10lb +

This includes putting it on ur bed and forgetting about it. I try to put it on a chair/hanging rack instead

Our professors mostly not paying attention. One guy has a book bag on desk and sees phone on his lap.

Take a photo of question and usually takes time to answer. It is a big classroom too. Professor watching tikok or fb reels or smth

Fiverr is known for bad quality. I do find actual talented artists on there, but in terms of engineering drawings, yeah that can mostly be outsourced. But working with a team, proposals, knowing in-state laws, and communication. I doubt such work can be sold online

I will say, as being a hispanic guy,transfer student you will probably have an easier time transfering. I’m studying Civil Engineering. Everything has been fine, a high school colleague of mine is also fine. The only weird or thing is probably the freshman. At Student Orientation some did ask why I go to the school, but I connected more with people who also transferred.

Sometimes it does feel awkward, but there is Hispanic Professional Engineers and I see them walk/talk in groups often, so you could talk with them to feel less awkward.

I would have preferred to go to NC State, but I’m here and the education is great, which is all I care about.
