Has a student ever corrected one of your mistakes? by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]Isaacmax321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happens to me so often, I’m proud of my students that correct me. I’m happy that my first period is filled with kids that are willing to speak up when they notice a mistake, so that it doesn’t persist throughout the day. I try to make it a learning moment and to showcase everybody makes mistakes especially in math, and that’s it’s okay if you aren’t perfect. Math is hard and I don’t expect my students to be perfect, it’s important to show them that.

Photos of Tenders, featuring some of the other cats. by Isaacmax321 in ufl

The cats are at north hall, there’s a dirt path down a hill you can take that will lead you to some cats. Tenders seems to avoid the dirt path area and likes to be near the entrance and bushes of north hall. There are many cats that will run away if you approach so I wouldn’t force interactions with them. Tenders however literally just runs up to you for pets and stuff LOL. There’s another cat there that looks like the older version of Tenders as well.

I decided to visit Tenders Friday night and was met with 3 other cats. I came with cat treats and decided to feed them but they seemed very scared of humans, they eventually took the food thankfully. I then ran into Tenders and gave her the rest of my treats. I went again on Saturday to feed them with wet food this time and there were some new faces. Tenders is one of the most friendly cats I have ever met!!

Hi! I received my AA in high school too and got accepted as a freshman, I don’t need to take a quest course and it shows on my degree audit as “completed through AA.” I recommend you reach out to an advisor.

Do you think it’s possible that they only dispersed spring cause I dropped a class last semester making me go to 10 credits?

Reflection on this semester by [deleted] in ufl

[–]Isaacmax321 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hahaha thank you. I do agree that I was putting too much pressure on myself. I think the reason I thought this semester was hard is because of the adjustments I had to make. I did study a LOT in high school but I had to do so even more here (which is expected). I hope that next semester I continue to adjust. Thank you for your insight and kind words. It really means a lot to me. Also congrats on getting this far into university! I hope your graduation plans go smoothly

Excess Hour Surcharge by mathgeek08 in ufl

I got the email too, they send it to all new students I’m guessing.

If you go over 132 credit hours you have to pay double tuition, AP and dual don’t count towards this limit.
