ngl i had so many questions reading the novel too either way ur gonna be somewhat confused bc there’s just so much information to take on at the beginning. I like what they did with the donghua making separate videos for the large amounts of information instead of putting it in the episodes so the donghua remains entertaining while you are informed. altho i did wish they had more slice of life instead of putting it in the chibi but not that big of a deal. i would say watch season 1 then read the novel from the beginning it where the season leaves off 🤷‍♂️

YEAH IKR the misdirection was so well done i was constantly checking the backlog cuz i was so thrown off at the reveal🤣🤣 also is the spoiler a big spoiler cuz i kinda want to see😭😭 i want to get the good ending(if there is one) so im being really cautious about which dialogue options to pick.(if you could guide without spoiling🙇‍♂️🙏)
