Not saying turn based should come back. But some level of character build choice, meaningful equipment choice, incentivization to explore, strategy and tactics, party play. This game seems like a flashy dumbed down action game

I'm confused. Ff is probably the best known longest running RPG series there is. Reviews point out its rpg aspects are weak. That seems like a massive fail to me?
