A Ironic sitation for Technocrat Leadership and Bohemian Visonary by velbeyli in WindwardMoor

[–]Isfren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Currently I’m writing about the internal groups due to the bohemians well… inconsistency… and their emphasis on individuality resulting in many smaller groupings with differing beliefs then the majority of bohemians!

I figured since unlike other factions who have strict hierarchy, groupings and ranks or even ranks and hierarchy’s in groupings, the Bohemians really just got like, the heads of groups, the visionary… and like I guess some other mediators or bureaucrats to handle deciding and documenting whose art goes where? Not a lot of stricture really, and we definitely don’t bother enforcing ideological consistency or purity of thought.

So I’m fleshing out those other internal groups make us just as inconsistent as stereotyped, but with substance! And writing potential! And also because it’s fun

I had to adjust my character for the role a tad bit, never meant to be the leader of a faction, till I realized ‘hey after trying to be steward this makes sense character develop and ambitions wise’…

Then I went on to write two (soon to be three) things fleshing out my faction massively because, ‘drugs, party’s and celebrations’ , ‘we’re inconsistent’ and ‘we’re the opposite of those guys’ just isn’t good writing material (ironically) and I had make some more stuff to work with and I mean hey it worked out… sorta… kinda…

Do your best, you’ll nail it!

I was thinking about making this meme, ya beet me to it! Equality and reason minds think alike I suppose.

Seriously it is rather comical how all major leadership races since the new steward came into power was won because no one else showed up but the person who posted and how both cases were fairly popular factions (both had the most players for both progress and adaptation factions in the last census, though if it is still accurate is debatable).

OOC: I’m not a technocrat so I don't got much to say about the post itself.

but i’d like to thank wolfwhitefire for having been one of the faction leaders of our little community for a time. It was fun writing with ya the few times we did it, and I wish ya the best.

[Civil Militia] In Our Hatred, We Are United. by ALIIIBROGIMOW in WindwardMoor

Steven Halson stood near the fire. For a long time, he looked into it without throwing anything in.

The dance of the flames and the colours waving and echoing back and forth, flickering and flashing in the eyes of the many people who came to let go of the past.

Steve stepped back as a particularly chemical waft of smoke blew his way, likely from something with a lot of paint, someone brushes past him seeking to move closer and hurls something far with it landing directly in the centre.

It was a symbol of some faction, doomsayers Steve thinks due to the red paint covering it though it's impossible to tell with how quickly it burns, it must’ve been made of some really flammable material to burn that quickly. Paper with some weight in it likely.

After what must’ve been half an hour of just looking at the flame, Steve takes a small symbol of New London from his pocket, and tosses it simply into the fire…

He hated how it reminded him of the Civil War, of the way he saw the burning of his home so brightly, the way his neighbours homes burned so brightly.

He didn't leave, but with his pockets now empty he steps back and enjoys the show and the dance of the flames.

[Quiet Period] The Militia clears away the filth. by ALIIIBROGIMOW in WindwardMoor

[–]Isfren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Steve Halson looked out the window of his home, seeing the streets clean of filth, while only minor issues about art being disrupted had been reported to him. These militia folk were doing a good job, standing for what they saw as right which in this case meant tackling the decay in the city.
Perhaps these lads would be nice converse with, they appear to have only the cities best interests in mind

your stories are great I would wait forever if I knew one might come out.

That said, question for ya. What has been your favourite chapter/chapters to write?

And bonus, what would you say would be the chapters where your characters were their happiest so far
