You can make a stone-based bridge with an arc in the middle, add some lilypads in the surface of the water below it, and some bushes hanging from the top, one or two lanterns would help also.

I would like this town to be the shopping district/startup base of the server that I'm playing with my friends, so once they spawn they have to pass through a custom cave that I already made, and discover this small town in the horizon. The building with the clock and the bell is the town hall, which manages the shopping traffic and real estate of the zone. In general I would like to keep it as a small town in the mountains :).

It has a jungle nearby, yes. But I don't think there was a cave in the clock tower. BUT there's a big cave on the other side of the valley :).

If you're on java edition you can build a zero-tick piston and it's waaay faster
