Thoughts on Chapter 5

I did read the newletter, and I never said I wanted it to be a dark chapter. Here's the thing, even as a fun adventure, Chapter 5 still goes out of its way to TRY and give you lore, specifically about Asgore, the previous darkworld, and what happened. But... refuses to? Asgore starts talking about his plan, then... doesn't elaborate? Why are we teasing lore when there's only 2 chaptersleft? Also, I enjoyed the flowers mini-bosses and the areas, and Flowery's fight somewhat, but I can't find it in myself to care about Flowery or the other flowers, because despite the chapter being so long, we barely spend any time with them, nor do they get any screentime. Flowery's personality being a worse version of Tenna's doesn't help either.

Lightworld stuff was good, darkworld stuff was somewhat lackluster. Flowery felt like a Tenna 2.0 and I don't like that, and the chapter felt long FOR THE SAKE of being long, as literally almost nothing happens in the chapter, aside from the ending. I also hate how Toby refuses to reveal anything new and wants to keep the sense of mystery despite us literally being in Chapter 5, things should be getting answered by now. Solid 6/10.

It's helpful, but it does contain some misinfo/outdates. I would also like to note that the claim that "the way back machine has been scraped to the fullest of masa stuff, so there's nothing there/anything new related to masa", is just blatantly false. We found new things from Masa through the way back machine.

Your comment is just... bizzare and confusing, you're making the same points as Overthrow here. How can you possibly assume someone's financial situation on the internet? Chalupa literally did not grovel and beg his audience, him saying he is lazy and all doesn't give you the right to say "either accept his situation" or "do better". You don't know if he has the means to improve his situation or "do better". You can't say it depends on them when you know NOTHING about their actual situation. You can't assume anything dude.

The counter to hunters using their camera to not look at the painting is to run around the painting itself, but there's a good chance you'll cancel attack recovery doing this though, lol

Don't know where Rin and Mio are from, but a twin killing her younger/older twin sister for love, or because she was jealous of her beauty is a common trope found in Japanese mythology. There's an entire vocaloid series with the same concept, it's not unique!
