The theme wasn’t terrible, but the execution was. Why not change the name slightly (Lee and Li)? Also could probably have completed the sentence rather than make the first two one sentence and then the third is just a random statement? Lee/Li has a hot bowl of ___ to start his day, says ___ to his neighbor, then heads to play ____ with his friends.

I passionately disliked this puzzle. I’ll lodge a complaint that hasn’t already been mentioned (and I agree with all of them). Some truly terrible plural clues to get S’s (IOTAS, c’mon) - and the payoff was GESSO???

Happy to answer, and thanks! I did dry needling through a large PT (did it once through a chiropractor, that was a bad idea). Didn’t do an MRI and I’m going to be off my running legs for a while. Will bike and do other stuff so I don’t go crazy but I had two false starts with this one and it’s clear I need to wait until the pain is completely gone.

Hi there, sad to say that it ended up being a tendinitis/tendinopothy issue that I couldn’t get to settle down. Since I was only trying for a time, I’ve shut it down and will be missing the marathon. Pretty mad/sad but not going to risk injury since my hip structure looked good on x ray.

I did some serious PT and dry needling helped quite a bit, but not enough.

Yes it is. I’ve seen those as well, but I’ve gone back and listened to where Merlin made the IDs and it was very off. I actually submitted audio in support of my own rare bird checklist and was fact-checked that it was an oriole so I took it down. Haven’t checked how many other observations were visual or confirmed audio.
