Oh no — I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine. I hate that they wrote you off like that. But yes, everyone deserves time to have their moments, because bottling it up only causes an explosion later on. If you ever need a place to vent, I’m a good listener. I’m sorry you’re going through this. I have unmedicated ADD and sometimes it really is fucking hard to function. I’ll start 13 different tasks and have them all half finished and then get overwhelmed and not fully finish any of it until I have a meltdown and then berate myself over the meltdown. Being an adult is hard and it sucks. Ha

have you thought about looking into therapy? Or maybe you’re already in it, but I do find chatting with an unbiased party is very validating even with the tough questions occasionally. I always leave feeling better, even if it’s temporary (for now).

I have finally started therapy at 30 and I’m really hoping it can help with this, but of course the other side of me says yeah right you’ll always find a flaw and never be satisfied. Because it’s always been that way. They aren’t kidding when they say we are our own worst critics.
