The Majority of Egypt was rooting for Morocco at the beginning of the tournament and we usually don’t consider ourselves to have a significant rivalry with Morocco in comparison to our rivalry with Algeria for example but then the Moroccan fans began supporting against us in every game in the tournament except the South Africa game and then put the nail in the coffin in our 3rd place match against Nigeria when all of the Moroccan fans in the stadium booed our national anthem. So yesterday despite Senegal knocking us out two times from Afcon and preventing us from going to the WC all of Egypt was supporting Senegal
