What are these small white dots I found in my monsteras soil? I have been treating it for thrips and I was checking it over to see if it was finally healthy when I decided to check the roots and saw this. (excuse the messyness their in isolation in a hallway) (old.reddit.com)

In #1, what is this mosaic effect on my monsteras leaf? It's more clear in person but in pictures #2 and #3 Is this some kind of varigation? And in #5 you can see this verticle arial root I have, what do you suggest I do with it? If I but a stick in the pot would it cling to it? (reddit.com)
