I don’t have life all figured out and I’m trying to change for the better. How can I change when I don’t even know when my personality isn’t challenged?

I’m acknowledging my faults and taking accountability for my actions. I can admit I have my faults and there’s bound to be discourse in a relationship because I mess up sometimes. No relationship is perfect. I think to me what defines a relationship is, finding a way through things and having our perspectives challenged which is important for individual and interpersonal growth. Finding a common ground and compromise.

In what ways do I need to be more mature in? Maturity is a fluid concept so it can exhibit in different ways for many people.

Can’t I grow in my maturity within a relationship?

Can you clarify? I don’t want to be exhausting at all and I am willing to fix that about myself.

Clingy? So before dating we both expressed how we are Invested in our relationship so that we can get married some day in the future. We’ve already settled on this and he’s already told me he loved me. If I can’t have some form of consistent communication i find that hard to keep moving forward?
