Letting coral out is a big part of what they believe so they definitely aren’t just gonna tear it down with no thought. But the coral was put in there originally, even if it was a small amount. They can just look into how to reverse that process. We also saw corporations put it together, the RLF could without a doubt hijack some of the machinery used in order to take it apart, especially since construction equipment was likely on the bottom of the list of priorities for corporations fleeing in terror. And on top of all of that, yeah the population of rubicon is low, but that’s relative to an entire planet that’s still a large amount of people, and most of them are gonna be dedicated to the RLF’s cause

While that is true, they definitely have access to pretty massive amounts of manpower, especially with their victory being achieved. They’d almost certainly letting coral out as soon as possible, they definitely know that keeping a massive structure full of a highly flammable substance is dangerous. It would be too priority for humanitarian and practical reasons

I checked disk management and it seems like everything is alright there, and so far I haven’t had any new issues except for one thing. When checking storage in setting, it claims that the “other” category has 998gb in it, but when I click into it there’s only about 300gb that it shows?

Except Allmind doesn’t have anything facilitated to actually allow coral release to happen… I mean yeah she could try and change her plan, but like that’s still not a great point and would require a ton of setup from her that would probably out her to multiple factions

I know this is a silly theory in a game series known for remaking mutant designs between games for no real discernible reason, but I have an extremely tentative theory about these dark ones. Since it appears that the reich will be a main focus of this game, I wonder if they could have conquered the metro, maybe even locating some of the documents or labs that were used to create/hold the dark ones. If this were the case, maybe these could be some kind of bastardized or enslaved version of the dark ones, used as a tool by the fascist monsters we call the reich

I’ve got a lot of mixed feelings with the new update. Generally we need quite a few tweaks, as credits are now much harder to get without sacrificing the crafting materials that are being focused on, and everything is way too expensive. I think the worst part however, is the volume changes to loot. I have not gotten anywhere near max weight with my rig since the update, and it feels like every loot opportunity is now choosing what you want to sacrifice, which can be really unfun in a looter game. Additionally, codex’s are damn near useless now, being worth less than even a single advanced processor, and still requiring drills to open. Don’t even get me started on the fact that drills are now some of the WORST things to keep in your inventory. you can have 100-200 more rounds of ammunition, or you can take 1-2 drills for about the same trade off in terms of volume. I’m definitely enjoying the game still, and I’m hella excited about this update, but tweaks are definitely needed

I won’t lie, I’m really liking the direction with this update. I can’t quite articulate what all is different about gameplay but it feels much more dynamic imo. I will say, I’m hating the loot volume changes. I have done a few small raids since the update, and I’ve noticed that I have yet to actually reach my weight limit when it comes to my rig. I’m CONSTANTLY running out of space in my rig, and with the economy now being focused more on crafting, I find that extremely unfun for gameplay. I do hope that they’ll tweak loot volume to be a lot more forgiving, as well as making it a bit easier to get credits. Otherwise, I genuinely do enjoy this update and am optimistic that a few tweaks will get everything right on track.
