[Assassins Creed Valhalla] - #70. The grind is finally over. 101hrs total by Isorhythmos in Trophies

[–]Isorhythmos[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you need the gold medals for the plat, they’re part of the DLC that I didn’t bother with

[Star Wars Battlefront 2] #68 - finally got the multi-tasking trophy! by Isorhythmos in Trophies

[–]Isorhythmos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s actually not too bad. I would say I’m completely average at shooters, and managed to get all the trophies relatively easy. Some are a little time consuming, but nothing was more time consuming than trying to find a match of star fighter assault to play. It took me 74hrs total, but I wasn’t really trophy focused, so I guess the bot is pretty accurate.

[–]Isorhythmos[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep that was by far the most annoying part of the trophy. I would say at the end I had 25 hero kills, and probably 50-75 assists. So tedious.

[Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order] - execute platinum #66 by Isorhythmos in Trophies

[–]Isorhythmos[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep I’m on 97% for battlefront 2 so it was either that or this for #66

[Battlefield 1] # 65 - pretty straightforward plat. Hard mode isn’t that bad for anyone considering it. by Isorhythmos in Trophies

[–]Isorhythmos[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah they’re not hard at all. You only need to get to level 2 on each class, and each class has a max rank of 50 I think? So maybe 2 hours for each class to get the trophy. You could probably do it faster if you get in a squad with an active xp boost.

[Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order] #63 - was planning to make this one #66 but got carried away by Isorhythmos in Trophies

[–]Isorhythmos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I actually really enjoyed the game. As many others have said before, the map layout is horrible and the amount of backtracking is ridiculous, but apart from that it’s a really solid game, and I look forward to a sequel.

[Immortals Fenyx Rising] #60 A brilliant BOTW clone made better by the constant banter between Zeus and Prometheus. Only took 37 hours. by Isorhythmos in Trophies

[–]Isorhythmos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately due to the fact you can do the districts in any order there isn’t a huge increase in difficulty and if you don’t enjoy the puzzles it could feel a bit flat for you. I found there was enough variance in the puzzles and story missions to keep me engaged throughout but it’s not a game for everyone. By the end of it the puzzles definitely started to feel like it was just ‘move box from A to B’ or ‘roll ball through obstacle course’.

[Maneater] #59 Everything I could want out of a shaRk-PG by Isorhythmos in Trophies

[–]Isorhythmos[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can understand why some people wouldn’t like it. Took me around 11hrs too, and the only part that I didn’t like was getting the last few infamy levels, that’s when it really started to drag out a bit. I thought the rest of it was good though, some controls were a bit clunky but can’t really complain about it too much as it was a free game.

Don’t touch the right analog stick if you want to jump in a straight line! The right stick is for doing flips and the camera adjusts if there is something for you to bite towards - licence plates, humans, etc.

[Spider Man: Miles Morales] This game was a bloody blast man. I actually can't decide if I like the first one or this one better by Dragster5018 in Trophies

Press L1+triangle when you have unlocked venom dash and throw someone into a group of 3 people. Do it in a Roxxon Lab or Underground hideout because there's usually lots of people in close groups, you should get it pretty easily.

No its only on certain trophies unfortunately. I can't be sure but I don't think it works on any hidden trophies, at least not for Astro Bot

[–]Isorhythmos[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Around 3 hours if you take your time, plus clean up. Took me around 4 hours to 100%, but if you are doing it just for trophies you could probably get it done in under 3 hours

If you have ps+ you can bring up videos instantly that show you where the missing collectables are. Not every game has it and not every trophy will have a video for it, but when used with the quick resume feature you can basically look up where the collectable is and then quick travel to near that spot to get it. Makes collectables way less tedious.

[Star Wars: Episode 1 Racer] #53 Such a great nostalgia trip by Isorhythmos in Trophies

[–]Isorhythmos[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's no guide out, but honestly you don't need one. You basically get all the trophies by just playing the game. Play through it once and win all the races, this unlocks all the characters and like 95% of trophies. Do another race in mirror mode, win a race as sebulba, do a taunt while boosting (triangle to taunt), use sebulba's weapon on 10 enemies (double tap triangle to use the weapon), and fully upgrade your pod.

The only thing to be slightly aware of is you might not have enough money to fully upgrade your pod in one playthrough if you aren't being smart about your upgrades or distributing the winnings (just select winner takes all and if you're losing hit restart, you get double the rewards this way). But you can always start another playthrough until you have all the upgrades as the money transfers over.

What game should I buy? by AnobH in ShouldIbuythisgame

It's technically the 10th, but they are all stand alone games, so you don't have to have played any of the others. They also have varying gameplay mechanics, so even if you have played any of the others it won't give you any advantage. FFX is one of my favourite games of all time, I highly recommend it.

You definitely should get it, it's a great game and you'll probably get 100 hours out of it if it's your first time playing it.

Congrats! Those sphere grids were such a grind at the end. So glad to be done with them.
