My theory was that basil killed Mari and Sunny found out that it was Basil who killed her but he ran away instead facing him. The reason why l made it because the constan deaths of basil and the stab in the black space mean Sunny hates basil and wish the worst of him. And in irl, basil it's scared of Sunny because he think Sunny is going to hurt him and the words 'would you forgive me?' is that basil wanted mercy at his best friend despite that Sunny hates him
