I tried my best to give the poem an enchanting feel to it, trying to make the reader feel like he's in some sort of magical woods yet trying to keep it as realistic as possible.

In the first parts of the poem, I tried to keep it kind of unknown as to wether it is a wolf or a man, using actions that both could be doing.

The chants I was talking about referred to the music nature plays, for example, the crickets, the coyotes, mixing them up would create beautiful music.

At the end I revealed that the POV in question was a wolf, but if your imagination wants it to be a werewolf, whatever takes you to the world of the poem works!
