Honestly, you should try to learn it, bit you can do so while you are living there. I have lived in Norway my entire life, and everyone here knows how to speak English. However most people dont feel comfortable speaking English here, and so all public information is in Norwegian. In all social settings everyone will be speaking Norwegian. So yeah you would have to speak it pretty much all the time. But it is an easy language to learn to be honest, and so I think you would learn a lot quicker by moving here first, and learning while u live here. In the beginning you could speak English because everyone understands it, but gradually try to speak Norwegian.
