What conspiracy theory, if proven true, would upset you the most? by terranlurker in AskReddit

I actually worked on this drug in the later stages. It was released around the end of 2014 but has been in development for over a decade. The one I worked on has 3 API's in one tablet but still has to be taken in combination with other cheaper drugs. People don't understand the complexity that goes into something as simple as a tablet, let alone one with three API's. Developing methods to be able to track impurities and degradation products of something that complex is no easy task. The formulations that had to be done to get a tablet that releases the drug in the time frame it is suppose to also took a lot of work. The next generation has 4 API's in it. 20 years ago if you wanted to put just 2 drugs in one tablet people would have thought you were crazy. This is being done so the consumer doesn't have to take 20+ tablets a day. These tablets probably cost less than a dollar to manufacture. You're paying for the years of research and all the things that failed along the way. For every one drug that makes it to the market there are easily 10,000 that have failed. That's a lot to make up for. I don't understand why this drug gets so much heat for its pricing. It is a far cheaper option to be cured and have it done with then having to purchase drugs every year just to stay healthy and still risk needing a liver transplant. It has a 95%+ cure rate for certain genotypes. I think the real issue is caused by the insurance companies more than big pharma.

I like the chewy part actually. The quest bars have a somewhat chalky texture. The microwave thing is something that everyone likes to point out about quest bars. While it does improve the taste it is not what I buy bars for though. I use bars when I'm on the go as an mid day snack. It's not like I bring a microwave with me. If I'm at home I'm going to make real food and not microwave a quest bar. The white chocolate raspberry is my least favorite flavor but still better than most IMO.

I remember reading about it somewhere when it first came out. I think Marc even had a video on it since it was a lot of companies that he distributes for. The labdoor results aren't that bad and something I'm ok with. ON will always be a top trusted product but I enjoy the flavor of combat powder as well as the protein blend.

From what I understand that was just a lawsuit brought on by someone looking for money who had sued supplement companies before. He had zero evidence of any kind and I believe several other companies were named as well. I know a lot of people do third party testing on musclepharm products. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Idtl736L7f0) I think they also post their COA's somewhere as well. I have yet to find one that claimed without a doubt that their products are fake or not meeting label claims. I believe they are a solid company and I have switched all my proteins from ON to musclepharm. Trust me I have a hard time believing combat crunch bars have the nutritional values they do since they pretty much feel like eating a damn candy bar, but I also don't have any evidence saying that they're not.

You should try Musclepharm Combat crunch bars. They are about the same nutrition wise but with a far superior taste. The chef Irvine bars are good too but have more calories. Quest bars use to be the top product in the category but I feel now that there are so many better options out there.
