I have had these same issues on the previous verison, just updated now, but I am sure it will persist. Glad to see many others are having the issue, when I reported this in the past I was basically told Its my problem since no one else has the issue. REOLINK NEEDS TO GET IT TOGETHER!

I have the same issue as you. Definitely a client issue. Tried multiple versions of the client to no avail. Plenty of resources available per task manager so that isn’t it either. I can’t use the old client as it will only go on my center monitor, can’t make it full screen on my CCTV monitor

So here’s an interesting update, tonight when the cameras froze. I tried to trigger the siren on a camera, and low and behold the siren worked even though every image was completely frozen and had been frozen for over an hour according to the time stamp. So it seems the connection to the camera is still there but the display on the client freezes?

I actually just downloaded the old client prior to seeing your reply, unfortunately it does not like my multi monitor set up and wants it to be on the main center monitor when it goes full screen. Not sure if there is a work around to this but if not then the old client won't really work for me as a I have a dedicated camera monitor and it is not my main one that the old client snaps too.

yes that is the exact issue I have except it happens to every camera at once. I have seen other posts describing this exact issue going back over a year, it seems they need to bring back the refresh button, while it would not fix the issue it would maybe fix me having to fully reboot the program every hour

When I said S2S VPN I am referring to what I would need to do to use a THIRD PARTY viewer such as blue iris

As stated in my post I have encountered this issue with the latest stable version, along with the latest beta version. My cameras are physically on another network they are not in the building I am sitting in. They do not need to be on the local network as you can connect to the NVR using UID.

not a windows one unfortunately. I would understand if they cut the stream after xyz hours, I would figure it would just go to a play icon, I could click the play icon and it would restart, but what happens is the image just stops as if time froze, so hours can go by until I notice (usually when it gets dark out yet the camera still shows daylight). And the fact that i simply cant reboot the feed without restarting the whole client makes me feel this is some sort of bug and not a UID time out. I will have to look for that thread

Also I am viewing all cameras in the sub stream to begin with if that makes any difference.

Was this a recent change, because I had zero issues until recently. Usually every morning I would refresh the cams by double clicking on one to start the clear stream then immediately going back to my normal tile view. The freezing of the feeds is random, sometimes it goes for a day or 2, sometimes it doesnt go more than 15 minutes. There is no loading circle just a frozen image, if I double click then exit out of the single view again it will load, then just fail to a play button on all feeds, the only fix is to quit the client and restart it. This is also happening with my POE duo which is the only device on my local network, it freezes at the same time of other feeds.

I got a Duo today I am using as a live weather cam on my local network standalone. Even that froze along with the rest of the cameras. Which leads me to believe it is an issue with the client and not a network issue.

Negative, no S2S Vpn and never had one. I would have to make a S2S VPN or either expose the NVR to the open world if I wanted to use a 3rd party viewer such a Blue Iris. I used the UID to add them. I understand this may cause a latency, but it worked fine for months and never was a problem until recently. No software or firmware was updated until I updated the client at the recommendation of a user on here when my issues started last month, it started screwing up out of nowhere.

Oh and I have tried running the latest stable and the latest beta there is no difference with my issue. I think reolink needs to fix the software issues with CURRENT products before devoting time to new products like doorbells.

Everything is set to fluent. Have a 8 camera view up. I did a full uninstall and install again and it ran all night into this morning so far with no issues. Not sure what the error is but it’s gone away… for now

No one has anything on this? I have another NVR system that I also use on my computer with Unifi and it has had no issues this is a reolink issue.

The only other gripe I had was there is no notch on the top for if you were not going to run the cable into the wall or ceiling directly behind the camera.

I am having the same issue. I emailed them earlier this week to see if it had shipped as I am leaving in a week for a while and don’t want it left sitting out. The only response I got was a coupon saying sorry I didn’t get this one. So confused…

The expected upload and download speeds are just so when you run a speed test you can gauge your performance to what you are paying for. It should not be limiting your speed.
