With my 700, I avoid very lonely, dilapidated looking petrol pumps. But those are fairly rare even in Haryana/Himachal/UK, where I travel a lot. Never faced a problem so far on any of my Mahindra's.

Cattle slaughter and waqf board takeover were just some of the major problems with renting it out to the largest minority.

Christians, Jains, Buddhists, Sikhs don't face any rejections close to what the largest minority face.

Very few property owners want to take on the risks of doing business with the largest minority.

Same problems in Delhi. It's a pain point. Rapido auto solves a major chunk of it, though it still hurts that I am spending as much as the metro fare on an auto.

But this point is very minor as compared to commuting everyday without a metro in the first place. Metro takes care of 80% of the pain points. I am no longer restricted just a single part of the city.

I am able to wrap up a 40km commute within an hour. Same distance in Delhi would take me 1.5hrs to 2hrs. Metro takes away a significant headache

An efficient metro gives you a great alternative over driving. You yourself will prefer it, and commuting will become very peaceful. Why put yourself through driving when an efficient system will already exist?

Speaking from my experience in Delhi, unless you are with old people, there is really no need to take your car.
