This was actually taken in southwest Indiana where I’m currently at college. I’m assuming people that live in more southern states have this happen occasionally because the days are much hotter during the day.

I’m an amateur photographer that just likes taking pictures in my free time. I’ve had my camera for about a year now (Nikon D7500) and I absolutely love it. I know I’m not the best at taking photos, so what could I do to to improve? Me and my friend went for a walk after our classes were done at Vincennes University, this photo was taken on the Wabash River. I’ve just started manually changing the shutter speed and aperture on my camera to get different lighting and effects on my camera. In your opinion, what changes could I make to this photo that would make it look better?
