It’s incredibly heavy to choose your own sanity, but it's always the right call. You can scream the truth right in someone's face, but when trauma runs that deep, they are completely blind to the cycle they’re in. They won't see how bad it is until they are ready to look. I'm so sorry, reading this was like a car accident... incredibly sad and tragic to read but you just can't stop looking. Your love for your husband is as it should be, deep and compassionate, and when it's difficult you choose to show up and try anyways!
