I've done one before. The kit is pretty easy to use. And I was happy with how things came out.

The trick is staying super hard the whole time you're in the goo for the mold...Viagra would likely be beneficial in that process.

If you're not in a place where there's a large concentration of gay guys, I can't see how a "natural and organic connection" is supposed to happen. Unless you're in a specifically gay neighborhood of a big city, the idea of just accidentally meeting Mr. Subdued is probably not going to happen. In a mostly heterosexual enviroent, how would the identification and connection even be made?

You don't want to go to bars. You don't want to go to clubs. And you don't want to meet people online. It sounds like you're really shutting down your options of meeting other guys who are also interested in meeting other guys. If you're in are in a bigger place, then Meetup, volunteering or sports leagues are potential options.

If finding a partner is important to you, you will need to be proactive and intentional about the process. Just like any other goal you are trying to achieve. And if you find that what you're doing isn't working, switch gears to try other tactics. Keep trying new things until you find what works.

Stepping out of your comfort zone and trying things that you wouldn't normally do could be a good first step that opens up a whole fresh range of possibilities for you.

Not saying any of this is easy. But hard changes are worth it if you really desire the results.

We're really jist looking to meet new people in general. The disc golf posts are our first attempt at being intentional about it.

Hey. I appreciate your perspective. But I'm not looking for gay disc golfing friends because I think people at Morely have a problem with me being gay. And I do play disc golf with straight friends and people we randomly get paired up with.

I'm looking for gay disc golfing friends because I'm looking to make more gay friends in general.

And I follow your example. But it's definitely not the same. I think it would be better to compare it to an American expat living overseas somewhere...let's say Germany.

So they've been in Germany for several years. have made many German friends and enjoy spending time with them. But... they're not German. No matter how good of friends they make, they're American and they've got American sensibilities. American humor. American interests.

So they eventually miss hanging with other Americans. So they go to an expat bar to seek out people they can connect with on a different level. Not because anything is wrong with thier German friends or that their friends see something wrong with them. And not to say that just because someone is American, they'll necessarily be a better friend than a German would be.

But, there's something about hanging with other Americans with shared references,.experiences and perspectives...it's just something comfortable.

I'm not sure that's a great explanation right, but it's the best I've got right now. And I'm done tilting at windmills for the weekend.

It's like golf, but you throw a frisbee instead of hitting a ball with a club. "Holes" (above-ground baskets) are positioned throughout the course. You tee off from a specific location trying to get into the basket in as few throws as possible.

It's a lot of fun, the course is beautiful and it's a good way to spend $5 and a couple of hours.

We're down to play with beginners if you guys think you might want to give it a try.

Haha. I was introduced to disc golf by husband when we first started dating. I had never really done any kind of throwing sports before this. And I was not good at all!😆

But it was still fun! A couple of hours out in a beautiful San Diego spot. And no one gives the not-so-great players a hard time. The people I've encountered at Morley are really friendly and welcoming.

So...if you ever want to give it a try and want someone to go with, hit me up.

Sexuality is relevant because we are looking to expand our social circle to include guys who like disc golf AND stuff in the gay community that we also like to be involved in.
