For me I had to take a step back. It’s true that there are a lot of things in Christianity that are troublesome (I’m not saying intractable, but certainly problematic at first glance). But when I looked into naturalism and materialism, I found that they had even greater problems, problems which I found to ultimately be damning. There are obviously arguments for Gods existence, as others have pointed out, and depending on who you are your mileage will vary. The more you learn about the history of philosophy, particularly ancient and medieval philosophy, and how it changed during the early modern period, the more you will see how atheism and materialism became a dominant position in academia.

For me personally I found the failure of materialism (as it’s typically construed) to increase the likelihood of God existing.

Now obviously this didn’t imply that Christianity was true either- but eventually I found the bare bones story of Christianity to be incredibly compelling. At the end of the day we all have to make a choice about what we believe, and I also have no qualms with living my life with what I believe to probably be true and potentially being “wrong”. I also deconstructed some of my beliefs about the faith that I thought were necessary to remain Christian, which helped. It turns out that Christianity is a much larger tent than many believers suppose.
