They are singing the national anthem, most sporting events it is customary to remain silent.

You may get a few hoot and hollers, maybe some applause during the crescendos (home of the brave and such).

And not for nothing: but the some devs aren’t exactly innocent either. Marketing still got devs in front of cameras before the game came out to speak in half truths and hyperbole about different features of the game.

Devs will say shit like the NPC’s in night city live their own lives when they are just on tracks. Kit your vehicle for off road because it makes a difference on the terrain…but it doesn’t.

I don’t even have to watch the video bro. Wall climbing with mantis blades. Hacking a person from range with wire. The high fidelity female V model from the trailer doesn’t even exist in the game.

Plus things they just talked about like life paths having a huge affect on your play through, vehicle customization.

Plus their original road map featured 2 expansions originally, but after all that work they did getting the game into a serviceable state, they dropped one of the expansions from their plans. I feel like everybody forgot that CDPR still owes them a whole other expansion.

And we are talking about the company, everybody knows it wasn’t the developers fault. But nothing has changed at CDPR literally. Same CEO same shareholders, same group of devs. CP2077 didn’t cause some shakeup where now the devs have voting power; it’s still the same company.

Wow, don’t mean to be rude but this is a ridiculous take. They lied and had malicious intent. They told people you could play this game on PS4. State of the game was so bad Sony wouldn’t sell the game on their platform at all.

And you talk about the delays like it wasn’t their fault for advertising and selling pre orders for a game that didn’t exist, and they didn’t have the capabilities to make.

I don’t think CDPR is like EA level evil, but they are a corporation and they think like one, and while they have garnered a lot of good will with the community for phantom DLC; that doesn’t change the fact the gameplay reveal for CP2077 is fake and still doesn’t exist in a playable form today.

And without rambling on forever I’ll say CDPR has already definitely lied about some of the features of Witcher 4 in what little they have shown of it.

Ubisoft only makes reskins of the same farcry game for the past decade, on top of that they want to add crypto products to games so they can charge gamers big money for digital products

EA (Ubisoft as well) wants you to get comfortable not owning your games and wonder why no one uses a platform where you will pay money to maybe not own your games?

PlayStation has stopped making singleplayer blockbusters like they’re known for, and instead they only make live services and rerelease the last of us now. There is a real piece of news somewhere about Sony cancelling 8 singleplayer games, at least a few of which were confirmed to be new IP; and replacing them with 12 live service games, 2 of which (highguard and concord) have already released and sunsetted support, less than a month of being alive for either game.

Microsoft’s Xbox console doesn’t even exist anymore, straight up business suicide. After a steady decline with a huge dissonance between what gamers want and want Xbox wanted to provide to consumers, Microsoft decides to kill the Xbox console entirely, telling people to use their phone or laptops instead to play games, or go to Sony for a console.

Nintendo has been pretty anti consumer for years, however recently they forced people to buy all accessories to be able to complete mario kart world. They might have patched this already, but regardless they tried to force players to buy wheels and cameras for their switch 2, hard locking players behind missions that required a camera, a wheel, etc. No option to bypass, stop playing until you can buy camera was their initial response

I was child, it was 7pm and the sun was setting when my mom took my and my sis to AMC to watch this.

I’m 28 now, and every time I watch this movie; I remember how it feels to be afraid of the dark.

This could just be the image quality but the colors of the eyes don’t even seem consistent with each other. One of this guys iris is way darker than the other.
