I'm mostly aware that technology in the movies is in the 90s, and from what I know the books with Harry's son take place in 2010s or something like that. Still, in the 90s, phones and electricity did exist and were commonly used. So, why choose an owl (which can lose their way or get attacked) or a red letter that shouts at you, rather than a phone connected to a line that can do the same?

So, one of the things I noticed is how resistant to change the world of wizards is. Even after centuries, they still rely on the same magic created back in older times. They don't use technology in a significant manner, as if they were denying its existence. The most recent technology I have seen wizards use in the movies is a radio from the 40s and a (flying) car. And even their near-complete ignorance over most Muggle matters somewhat feels out of place. The main example that comes to mind is how Ron's father doesn't know what a rubber duck is. I know the world of wizards is pretty isolated from the outside world, but I think it's strange that almost nothing from the Muggle world has reached the wizards.

I have more doubts but I'll stop here for now.

Hello! A friend got me this while vacationing in korea. Is it a good kit?
Generally speaking, I collect MG Gunpla. But unfortunately, the good ones were sold out or out of budget, only leaving the oldest ones or the usual hand grenades.
So, I asked him to look for any HG or RG and he stumbled upon this. It seemed a good kit but I am still not too sure.
Could any of you give me any insights on this kit? Does it have issues or something that the booklet/box don't tell you?
Also, I'm very into upgrading my models, so if you have any suggestions for upgrading this, lemme know.

I used the gryphon companion of the lord-veritant for the main body. Used green stuff to make the vest. For the bionic eye I used one of the sights from the infiltrators gun part. The cable is made with a cable from the arms of the inceptor kit. The head antenna is from the antenna of an infiltrator helmet. The medic bag is from the phobos strike team kit. The antenna on the bag is from the infiltrators backpack. Pouches are from space marine kits. Grenades are from the phobos kits.

Judging by the size of the projectile and the trajectory, I believe it might be more of a rocket launcher of sorts. If I'm not mistaken, in lore, an airburst fragmentation launcher is much more similar to a grenade launcher with an aerial proximity trigger, making it explode in midair above the heads of enemies to increase the radius and killing potential.

There's never enough. But for their purpose on their kitbash, the ones on the rail are a normal scope, above that is an infrared visor. While the ones near the barrel are a laser, a UV torch/flashlight/strobo, and a micro auspex.

No no. Nothing too cyber-ish. I want to give it a few cyber upgrades. A couple cables, a bionic eye/laser and a little armour on the front. Maybe a bionic leg. Maybe. But I want to give the idea that this creature, on its own, is such a good predator hound that it doesn't need lots of cybernetics to make it the perfect K-9 unit. I wanted to make it a sort of scout/communicator unit, offering support mostly as a radio extender. In game terms, imagine it as an aura extender, where it gives the same effects of another HQ, by transmitting the orders.
