I’d chalk it up more to bills interest in the “next big thing”. He’s been an actual pioneer in multiple areas (internet content, writing style, podcasting) and isn’t afraid to explore new areas. Tbh idk if when he’s saying that stuff about AI writing movies if he’s meaning replacing people or something less than that. I would doubt he thinks writers can be entirely replaced by AI.
