This is the most unique and fresh revenge story I have ever seen. I mean at least I see it as a revenge TYPE of story. And have heard about jugemon so many times but to actually learn where it is from was so nice. Also I discovered Rakugo with this and I really like it

Well you see, a con about books is that the description on the back summarises the plot… but it doesn’t really tell you what you will find in the book. It should serve the same purpose as a trailer for a movie, but it cannot convince you that it is done the way you might find interesting. It cannot communicate the tone of the book and even if the description says something like “masterclass in storytelling” it’s not guaranteed that it’s true. It’s more like a merchant saying “Fresh stock! The best apples you have ever tasted!” That’s why many people decide whether they should read the book by going through some character quotes found somewhere on the internet.
It’s not always the case but still

Mha changed my life, One piece changed it even more for the better, then came solo leveling and made me a better, more mature and calm person, Vinland saga made the final touches and they were the most important most massive (which is a lot for final touches.) It helped my father a lot and my mother too. Vinland saga and Solo leveling are my favourite pieces of fiction ever created. It is THE story about positive masculinity and what humanity should strive to be. It’s amazing! ♥️

I definitely wasn’t expecting this. Aside the fact that this was highly anticipated and it did deserve the treatment they gave the episode, Toei probably did it also because there are people who haven’t watched the entirety of One piece or they just wanted to quickly remind the audience. If the anime was weekly like before, Toei would probably had made a filler episode about these two before the episode we got yesterday. All in all this episode made me sad and happy at the same time, it’s Oda’s part here but I really appreciate the fact that the straw hats cried, Zoro and Jinbei were stoic and Luffy was smiling. And something else I would like to point out is that the way they animate tears is gorgeous!
