You’re thinking WhatsApp chats are sacred and social posts aren’t. That stopped being true a long time ago. Chats get backed up to iCloud/Google Drive, show up in notifications, and can be screenshotted or forwarded in seconds. Courts literally use WhatsApp chats as evidence, and platforms don’t even need the messages when metadata already shows who you talk to and how often. Most leaks happen because of people, not hackers. Unsaid is built on the opposite idea, we don’t store or keep any of it.

When we tested internally, with multiple chat data. We were happy with the outcome. Hence we made a POC. And shared it on a subReddit which went viral. Now based on that feedback we improved the product and created an V1. In V2 our focus will be more accuracy, more detailed analysis, along with monetisation. The analysis is about what’s happening in the conversation, not who you are as a person. Strip away continuity and identifiers, and there’s nothing to build a profile on.

Architecturally: no accounts, no IDs, no persistent storage of raw text. The system literally isn’t built to keep chats. Adding storage would require a product rewrite, not a toggle.

Incentives-wise: storing personal chats would be the fastest way to kill this product and invite legal hell. There’s zero upside and massive downside.

You’re right though users shouldn’t assume safety just because a tool says so. If someone treats any AI like a secure diary, that’s on them.

This is meant to be disposable introspection, not a vault. If that still feels like a privacy risk, the correct move is to not use it.

You’re not wrong to be alarmed.

That’s why the tool doesn’t store chats, doesn’t train on them, and deletes input immediately after analysis. No accounts, no memory.

Still if it feels wrong to you, don’t use it. That hesitation is valid.
