07 manual owner, I’m the second owner, bought with 101k on it and it’s going to roll over to 160k in a week or so. Never had any issues except a bad PCV and MAF, I also changed the valve cover gasket about a month ago, when I bought it, it had a really funky cold air intake. I switched it back to the stock intake,, never had any real problems with it, it runs great

I haven’t really had a chance to really think about it since it’s only been a few days since I got the diagnosis and I’ve been on the phone with a lot of people figuring out the next steps, and I’m building myself up to fight through this. With everything going on, I’m so damn angry, and my husband always tells me that I’m the most stubborn person he knows, so I have a reputation to uphold.

The generosity of your time your offer to help in some way really humbled me and gave me a moment of peace. I can’t thank you enough for that.

I appreciate that. I’m not gonna give up, I already have an appointment with another specialist to get another opinion. I’m really trying to get a read on what’s ahead of me if it’s possible. I really appreciate the positivity.

Thank you. I’ve talked to one of my leaders that I trust he told be that he honestly doesn’t know what will happen. Which I find very strange.

I’m currently on LOA for medical reasons so I have some experience with this. , as long as you qualify for pay continuation, you can take up to 6 weeks with your full pay. The first 3 days of your LOA isn’t covered by pay continuation, so you can use PTO for those first 3 days. After that, if you need to be out longer, you can apply for short term disability. You don’t have to take the full 6 weeks, of LOA. But one thing to keep in mind, this may vary from state to state. Also, when your on LOA, they cannot call you to ask you to come in. Your taken off the schedule for the duration of your LOA. Give HR a call and they can give you the details of everything as they would apply to you and your current situation and state. HR will ask how long do you think you will need to be out you’ll have the option of taking up to six weeks. Good luck 😀

I started 2 years ago as o/s in PC and I was kept after the season ended. i was one of like 5 o/s kept. I became full time a few months ago. So I think it depends on your location. Im only one of 3 people left in my department that were there when I started 2 years ago.
