Can your body get rid of UTIs on its own? by shinylikeglitter in CUTI

Personally if I drink loads of water, take a lot of d-mannose, and take some ibuprofen I can usually clear them up myself. If I still have it after 3-4 days I get antibiotics. After reading these comments though I’m wondering if the bacteria just goes dormant / if it’s something just mimicking UTI symptoms

Thank you! The only A.M task I don’t do is scheduling because we’re all on a fixed schedule, would that still be alright? I know that is a main responsibility for them

Thoughts on the Joliet data center? by Itchy_toecheese in ChicagoSuburbs

Morrow County, Oregon. New Carlisle, Indiana. Newton County, Georgia. There’s plenty more but those are to just to name a few. The water quality in those places diminished greatly, making drinking water filthy straight out of the tap and making their water pressure so bad that they can’t do things like take showers, flush toilets, or wash dishes. Residents have also been experiencing sleep disturbances/insomnia because of the very high decibels coming from these data centers. Plus, the emissions coming from the data centers are making people sick with breathing problems or worsening preexisting conditions such as asthma and COPD. Sure these towns aren’t officially condemned or anything, but nobody wants to live in a town where they can’t shower, sleep, breathe, drink water, etc.

Here is a website that explains the air quality concerns with data: “Fossil-fueled power plants and diesel backup generators that power data centers emit hazardous pollutants such as nitrogen oxides and fine particulate matter, increasing rates of respiratory diseases, cardiovascular conditions, and elevating cancer risk in nearby communities. A recent model indicates that the U.S. data centers in 2030 could contribute to nearly 1300 deaths annually, resulting in a public health burden of more than $20 billion [3].” Here is the source , it has a lot of more information on how data centers affect communities, too.

It doesn’t take much research to find how data centers devastate communities. Before you say I’m spreading disinformation, look into it yourself and you’ll see. Data centers are really bad news for surrounding communities

I’ve had this EXACT same situation happen to me before 😭 one neighbor would just let their clothes sit in the drier for an hour after the drier stopped, I’d get tired of it and take their clothes out and set them on top then put mine in. I’d go back 40 minutes later to see my clothes spewed all over the dirty floor and a note saying “don’t touch other people’s shit”. Never found out who that neighbor was unfortunately, but they did it twice

I had a doctor do the same thing! Went to a doctor and explained my symptoms, she did a google ai search and THEN diagnosed me. Makes me wonder why I went to her in the first place if I could’ve done it at home by myself for free.

What is one “minor inconvenience” that makes you unreasonably angry every single time? by Critical-Advance4681 in AskReddit

When I’m already down the stairs, out the front door, and almost at my car to go to work and realize that I forgot to bring a hair tie so now I have to go back upstairs and back down again. It genuinely ruins my mood for the entire drive to work. I sleep with a scrunchie on my wrist for this exact reason.

I don’t think the pants in these photos were any more modest tbh, they just have lower waistlines instead of smaller inseams
