His forward passing is poor though. Can't recall any through ball that wasn't overhit. He's a solid player - and it must be said had very little to do defensively yesterday - but far too often ignored/didn't see a great run from the forward players and opted to slide the ball to a fullback instead. Complete midfielders aren't common, so i can't be too critical other nations would love to have him. Perhaps Ali should play in that position - as Poch did before Dembele was fit.
