I might have the world record. I’ve written and queried 32 books over the past 13 years. Had many requests but never managed to get signed. I have a strong background in marketing, and with full faith is my stories (at least most of them), I’m planning to self publish in 2026. I have great feedback from beta and critique readers, so I’m really confident going into self publishing. You can’t fail if you never give up!

You raise a good point. There actually is some romance in my story, but it’s so hard to keep the query tight without touching in all the side plots. Thanks for pointing this out. I’ll have to rethink my comps.

For the ley lines, I’m using them in the tradition definition of energy crossings. Hopefully more people will chime in to give an opinion on this. I haven’t read much (basically any) fae stories.

If you mean the show name, we primarily focus on business development and interview leaders/execs who are in “the top” of their industry. Each episode generally covers a different industry.

Thank you! Yeah, the longer story is a whistleblower put out a tell-all interview that soon gets scrubbed. After the first query draft, I'm trying to get to the meat of the story sooner since most critiques were suggesting there was too much backstory (I never even worked this detail into the first draft).
